Founder & Managing Attorney
Attorney McBean Pompy is the Founder and Managing Attorney of McBean Law. She is also an immigrant from Jamaica, West Indies. She has worked on Capitol Hill (House Judiciary Committee) and with state policymakers on criminal justice policies. She later represented businesses in state and federal court and served as Deputy Corporation Counsel for Wayne County (Michigan). She specializes in complex family immigration matters, waivers of inadmissibility, consular processing, and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Executive Office of Immigration Review, and the Administrative Appeals Office. Her YouTube channel, McBean Immigration TV, is widely viewed and serves as a go-to resource for immigrants around the world.
Supervising Attorney
Attorney Carol Anasco D’Agostino specializes in marriage-based green card petitions, immigrant visa petitions for family members, waivers of inadmissibility, consular matters, naturalization and citizenship cases. Carol has represented numerous clients at immigration law firms handling employment and family based cases.
Attorney Catlea Bobis specializes in employment-based immigration. She has been highly successful in overcoming Immigrant Visa and Nonimmigrant Visa RFEs. She has extensive experience handling PERM applications, I- 140 (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3) and NIV petitions, including E-2, E-3, F-1, H-1B, H-1B1, H-3, J-1, L-1, O-1, P-1, P-3, and TN.
Attorney Boden is Of Counsel with our firm. She earned a B.A. the University of Michigan and received her J.D. from Yeshiva University, Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. Prior to joining McBean Law, Jennifer was Of Counsel at Bikkal & Associates in White Plains, NY. She was also Supervising Attorney for all Immigration Programs at the New York City Bar Association, Community Outreach Law Program, and was the Director of the Immigration Legal Services Program at the Polish and Slavic Center in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Attorney Powell is Of Counsel with our firm. He works in the areas of Removal Defense, Family Petitions, Adjustment of Status, Fraud Waivers, Asylum, BIA Appeals, VAWA Petitions, and U Visas. Before entering private practice, Mason served as Assistant Chief Counsel to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), where he represented DHS in nearly 400 final individual hearings. Mason is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law. When he’s not practicing law, Mason keeps busy raising four children with his wife.
