When client met with us at the end of February, she wasn't very happy.
Several years ago, she met her husband at a church in their Caribbean island. They dated and eventually moved in together.
She was later approved for a work visa that allowed her to travel back and forth to the U.S. for seasonal jobs.
Her husband later got his Green Card and moved to the U.S. permanently.
During one of her work trips here, they got married. Client then went back "home" at the end of her work season.
Unfortunately, both her visitor's and work visas were cancelled due to the marriage. She wasn't allowed back into the U.S.
Her husband then filed for her. However, USCIS wanted more proof that the marriage is genuine and asked them to explain some things.
We filed the response at the end of April. They got their I-130 approval this week!
They are one step CLOSER to being together again!
