One pro bono case sparked the fire within Attorney McBean Pompy to start McBean Law. The case involved a nine year-old boy from El Salvador who made the dangerous journey to the U.S. after his father was brutally murdered for resisting a gang's initiation efforts. This was Attorney McBean Pompy's first immigration case. She prepared an asylum case for her young client and represented him in immigration court in Manhattan. She later helped his mother and brother with their asylum claims.
Attorney McBean Pompy desired to help even more immigrants find their freedom in the U.S. She founded McBean Law in September 2016 to unite families and help immigrants achieve the freedom to be their best in the U.S. With the help of her popular YouTube channel, McBean Immigration TV, she is able to impact even more immigrants worldwide.
